Privacy Policy

New England Wedding Photography Magazine (NEWP)

Effective date: October 23, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how New England Wedding Photography Magazine ("NEWP", "we", "us") collects, uses and protects information on www.newenglandweddingphotography.com and in the tools we use to run our business.

1. Who we are

New England Wedding Photography Magazine is a wedding photography magazine and directory for Maine, New Hampshire, Vermont, Massachusetts, Rhode Island and Connecticut.

Contact: basicbrideco@gmail.com

2. Information you give us

When you join our waitlist we collect what you type into the form.

Photographers: name, studio name, email, home state, website or Instagram (optional), and whether you want NEWP updates.

Couples: your names, email, wedding state, wedding month and year, whether you have booked a photographer, and whether you want NEWP updates.

We use this to contact you about the waitlist, founding spots and NEWP news you asked for. We store it in Supabase, the secure database service that runs our waitlist.

3. Information collected automatically

Our site uses these tools, which may set cookies and collect things like pages viewed, device and browser type, approximate location and referring site:

  • Google Analytics 4, to understand how visitors use the site.
  • Meta Pixel, to measure and improve our Facebook and Instagram ads.
  • Pinterest Tag, to measure and improve our Pinterest content and ads.

These companies handle that data under their own privacy policies. You can limit them with your browser cookie settings, ad settings in your Google, Meta and Pinterest accounts, or optout.aboutads.info.

4. Our Pinterest tool

We use a private tool, connected to the Pinterest API, to manage our own Pinterest business account, @newpmag. It is used only by NEWP.

  • It accesses only the boards and Pins of our own @newpmag account, with permission given through Pinterest's official sign-in (OAuth). It never asks for or stores Pinterest passwords.
  • It uses that information only to update our own Pins: destination links, titles, descriptions, alt text, and which of our boards a Pin is on.
  • It does not access any other Pinterest user's account or personal data.
  • We do not sell, rent or share data from Pinterest with anyone, and we do not use it for advertising outside Pinterest or to train AI.
  • We do not keep a copy of Pinterest data. The tool reads it from Pinterest when needed. The only thing kept is a short private log of which of our Pins were updated, kept on our own computer and deleted when the cleanup is finished.
  • Access keys are stored privately on our own computer and never shared.

5. How we share information

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with service providers that help us run the site (such as hosting, email and the analytics tools above), or when the law requires it.

6. How long we keep it

We keep waitlist information until you ask us to delete it or until we no longer need it for the waitlist and NEWP updates. Pinterest tool logs are deleted when the work is done.

7. Your choices and rights

You can unsubscribe from NEWP emails at any time using the link in any email. You can ask to see, correct or delete your information by emailing basicbrideco@gmail.com. We will reply within 30 days. Depending on where you live, you may have more rights under local law, and we will honor them.

8. Security

We use reasonable steps to protect your information. No method of storage or sending data online is perfectly secure.

9. Children

Our site and tools are not meant for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information.

10. Changes

If we change this policy we will update the effective date above.
